It's a PAL VHS. No region coding on it. Most Australian TVs and VCRs these days can do both PAL and NTSC, so I'd assume most NTSC native gear could also manage PAL..?

I still need to digitise my copy. I haven't even seen it (would need to unpack the vcr, set it up, make sure it doesn't chew up the tape etc etc.).

I have my VCR connected into my PC so I can digitise no hassles. I am happy to do so but won't be torrenting it on my crazily slow upload speed. If someone wants to put their hand up as offical "Copy Maker" then I can help get it going.

What quality is it?
I was thinking about uploading my copy of it which is probably the highest quality you could get for a 16yr old VHS heh.
If yours is good quality then by all means get onto it, that is if you plan to upload it. If not then it's already been done at very high quality. I'm sure someone on the forum has it and is willing to send it to you.

If it's already available at very high quality then I won't bother. It would be going straight from VHS to an 8mbps DVD so it would be exactly as my VHS is. And like I said I can't upload that kind of file size anyway.. so yeah, go with what you've got!
Someone should do some of the older tapes already.......!!!!

Nah, not here.. if Luke is having trouble, I can copy it to DVD and send a copy to someone to upload, but I can't upload it myself.
