TISM Videos on DVD Pretty straightforward question this: Who has a copy of the released TISM videos on DVD? I have a couple on VHS, but would really prefer them on DVD. Happy to pay for postage and discs if someone can copy them. Alternatively, if someone wants to send me the DVDs, I can copy them and send them back.
If all else fails, how about file download site or setting it up as torrents.
Anyone? Bueller?
np SD some of the movies on there are TOPS and others well.... are very Poor..

Okay, so no-one here has a DVD(s) with the original videos?????????
How's this, if I can get a copy, I'm happy to make copies to send to people, or seed it on a torrent site, or upload it somewhere.
On a related note, it's come to my attention that there's a (fan made I presume) DVD of a Hi Fi bar gig, with a bunch of extras on it. Anyone here got that...?...Although it could be bullshit...but there's a little clip on youtube that suggests that there is at least one fan-made DVD with menus and stuff.
Edit: Some nice individual has put Gold! Gold! Gold! on youtube in the last couple of days... :)

You Tube rules!!!
Do you know how to download from there?? its quite easy to capture the files and convert them to DVD

I think you can download as FLV files. Or pinch them out of your 'Temporary internet FIles' folder.
You need a FLV player to watch them, but free ones are readily available.
In most cases the quality is not as good as Mpeg or AVI.
It's better than nothing though...

Don't just get the FLV files...use the 'bookmarklet' on this page.
http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/2008/04/download-youtube-videos-as-mp4-files.html
What you do is drag the link to your toolbar. When on a youtube video that you want, click the bookmarklet (what a dumb name) and you'll see a link appear in the video information panel that allows you to right click and save the original MP4 file. It depends on the quality of the uploaded video of course, but I got the Gold Gold Gold video and I suspect it's about a good as quality as you'll get from a VHS -> computer transfer.
Now, does anyone have the others on DVD or is willing to upload them somewhere? Anyone...? ;)

Yep I use mozilla with download helper which saves the file as 'flv' and then convert with Dvd Flick... sometimes the files can lag but you get what your given i suppose...
sorry skip i have no more Tism vids but am asking around for you mate :)

Cheers for that.
Try the thingo I suggested...if you convert from flv to something else, that means you're effectively getting a 2nd compression...the method I suggested grabs the originally uploaded file from youtube's servers - *much* better quality than the flv.

Cool. Thanks for that.
I'm gonna check it out!
