Derision will always be the ultimate form of liberty.

Good article Tim. I don't know that TISM were necessarily ahead of their time in this regard, as there have always been artists who will speak the unspeakable. But what I believe has happened is that there has been a "narrowing of the goalposts" in regards to speaking ill of the dead, or in Goodrem's case, nearly dead. While this has always been something of a taboo, there has been a gradual (and annoying) shift towards the instant public canonisation of any celebrity who has popped his clogs, irregardless of their contribution to society. Witness the elevation of Anna Nicole Smith from dumbass slapper to loving mother within days of her death. It seems you can only sum up a person's annoyances when they are fighting fit. That being the case we should probably stop picking on Hitler then...

I assume you read the Age interview where Ron Hitler explained his actions?
If you did, disregard. If you didn't... er... :tism:

tism just say it as they see it....some bastard getting sick is the same as delta or me or you...thats the point...why does it matter so much if delta or kylie get cancer....there is and has been many people with the same.....but no one gives them accolades or empathy in the media....thats all reserved for the beautiful people.....those who dont deserve cancer,,,,only because theyre famous.....fame brings many evils with it.......anyone booked into rehab lately?
